Welcome to your new Super-Powered Showit Blog. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!

Ok, this one is probably my favorite. I’ve actually been going there for the past 3 years for my birthday dinner. The focal point of the property is an 18th century hand hewn barn that was disassembled in Maine and brought to the property and rebuilt. It is stunning! We like to get a table by the windows so we can feel the cool breeze and watch the Little Colorado river rush by while we sip cocktails and enjoy long conversations and a lovely dinner.

Lost Resorts is located in the heart of Greer, and offers a secluded, forested setting for couples looking for a peaceful and exclusive feel. The property includes an outdoor ceremony area surrounded by tall trees and if you’d like to have your reception inside, the rustic barn can accommodate up to 100 guests. Catering can be done in house, so that’s one less vendor to figure out!
The outdoor reception area is not covered, but does offer electricity, and lighting. The ceremony lawn can be customized with chairs and arch rentals. Onsite and offsite cabins are available for up to 250 family and out-of-town guests. This venue is unique in that when you book them, you don’t just book the day of your wedding, but the day before and after as well so you can soak up time with your loved ones. The resort offers several activities, from horseback riding, fly fishing, yoga, hiking, wine tasting and more! Lost Resorts is a hidden gem and is booking out a year in advance, so if they are on your list, make sure to reach out early!
My Favorite thing about this venue: The big gorgeous barn and the forest setting, it feels like you’re not in Arizona. It’s luxe, without being pretentious.

For dinner service inside the barn, the max is 120 seated for dinner. depending on where you would like to hold your reception, The barn can accommodate 120 and an outdoor reception can accommodate 250. Ivory + Grace is a boutique event venue on 20 acres of land in the town of Lakeside, offering several ceremony and reception options. This space is designed for modern gatherings with a natural backdrop. The property includes both indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies and receptions and works well for events with up to 150 guests, but they can work with you if you have a little bit more than that.

As far as outdoor ceremony sites, there are 3 that are used the most, however they are very flexible and will work with your vision if there is another spot on their property that you want to use. The Upper Lawn has your guests facing lots of trees, in fact, you will say your vows under a huge Pine tree. There is a really nice paved walkway to the ceremony site, which if you’ve ever walked in heels in soft grass, you know is a huge bonus! The Pavillion is perfect for smaller weddings and is near a cute little man made waterfall, where chairs can be set up on pavers, so your guests won’t have to walk in grass at all. Grace Hall Patio is an option if you would like your guests to be under the cover of the large patio. They will be facing a large field, with the forest in the distance. Finally, for receptions, the venue includes a modern indoor space, Grace Hall, with windows, neutral tones, and high ceilings. The layout is flexible, allowing for seated dinners, buffet lines, or cocktail-style setups. Tables with linens and chairs are included in most packages, and they also have wooden tables and chairs to choose from as an add on. This is a huge benefit if there’s a certain vibe you’re going for, you have options without needing to find another vendor to rent from. The property is right next to the Mogollon Rim. (Pronounced Mo-gee-on, or simply “The Rim”) They offer a golf cart rental to take you to the Rim for Bride and Groom photos and it is stunning!

Ivory + Grace works with a list of preferred caterers but is open to outside vendors upon request. There is a small prep area available for caterers and plenty of space for a food truck or mobile bar. Alcohol is allowed with a licensed bartender. (I love Kel2 Bartending, they don’t have a website but let me know if you want their info!) Onsite parking is available, and they also have darling cabins available to rent on the property that can accommodate 60+ guests. Be sure to ask about the Honeymoon Suite! SO cute! Of all the venues in the White Mountains, the accommodations here are the most modern and comfortable by far. The venue is located in the heart of Pinetop-Lakeside, so it is close to several vacation rentals, hotels and restaurants.

My Favorite thing about this venue: Access to the Rim for Bride and Groom photos! As well as the cute cabins and the Honeymoon Suite.

FAQ:
Is the indoor space climate-controlled? Yes, it’s heated and cooled year-round.
Are decorations included? No, but they offer rental recommendations as well as Planner/Coordinator suggestions.
Can we book both the ceremony and reception on-site? Yes, both are commonly held at the venue.

1. Lost Resorts | Greer, Arizona

2. ivory + grace | Lakeside, Arizona

3. x diamond ranch | Springerville, Arizona

X Diamond Ranch is a working cattle ranch located just outside Eagar, offering wide-open fields, forest views, and a quiet, remote atmosphere. The owner is Wink Crigler and is royalty in this part of the state. Although she’d laugh if you told her that. She’s a real live rancher and if you call X Diamond, she’ll probably be the one to answer the phone. The venue provides several outdoor ceremony locations, including meadow settings, creekside spots, and tree-lined clearings. It’s ideal for couples wanting a rustic, outdoors-focused setting. The property can host up to 150 guests with plenty of space to spread out. Here you also have lots of cabins available for rent for friends and family. The cabins are definitely rustic, but the scenery cannot be beat. I love taking my kids out there in the summer to stock up on beef for the freezer and to get some yummy treats at their Ranch Market. We’ve seen big horned sheep several times on the road back to the ranch and of course lots of horses and cows. If you’re into fly-fishing, this is one of the best areas to be. Wink can also set up a fly fishing tour guide if you’re into that!
Receptions are typically held inside, even in the Summer, the evenings can be quite chilly. The Ranch can also provide catering. The ranch has no restrictions on vendors and allows food trucks or mobile kitchens. Alcohol is allowed with a licensed vendor. Lodging is available in on-site guest cabins, and parking is ample for both guests and vendors.

My Favorite thing about this venue: Ranch life is the best life! As you drive down the dirt road to the venue, you will oooh and ahhhh at the rocks, the animals, the fields, it really is a slice of Heaven. If you dream of being a cowgirl, you can choose to ride a horse to your ceremony!!!

FAQ:
Are animals present during events? Yes, but livestock areas are fenced off.
Are tours available before booking? Yes, by appointment.
NOTE: Cell service is really limited on the ranch, plan accordingly.

4. the greenhouse on woodland | lakeside, Arizona

Greenhouse on Woodland is what the owner, John Samora, describes as an “Industrial Farmhouse” venue located in the Pinetop/Lakeside area. Known for its cozy feel, “locks of love” and huge gorgeous trees, the space combines a newly constructed (2020) 2800 sq. ft. Reception Hall with an immaculately landscaped outdoor area. The venue is ideal for smaller to medium-sized events, accommodating up to 100 guests comfortably.

Ceremonies can take place outdoors on the manicured lawn, framed by lush green trees, or inside the Reception Hall, depending on weather. The Reception Hall has tons of large windows, and a huge door that can be left open to let the cool breeze in, as well as a quaint wrap-around porch. The venue includes tables and chairs, and there’s space for a dance floor inside.

The owners, John and Alison, purchased the property in 2016 and shortly after that got married there themselves! John is a photographer, but they do allow outside photographers. They require you to have a wedding planner to get married at their venue, and while some couples may not like this, I personally love the requirement. Your wedding day should be an enjoyable day, and a good wedding planner will make sure that it is by taking a lot of the planning stress off of your shoulders.

Greenhouse on Woodland has a list of preferred caterers but allows outside catering with prior approval. There’s a prep kitchen onsite for warming and plating. Alcohol is allowed with a licensed bartender. Parking is available onsite, and the venue is close to local hotels and cabins.

My Favorite thing about this venue: I love all of the trees, it feels like a secret garden!

FAQ:
Is there a weather backup plan? Yes, the large Reception Hall can be used for both ceremony and reception.
Are setup and teardown included? No, those are typically the responsibility of the client or planner.
Can we use our own vendors? Absolutely! As long as they meet the venues insurance requirements.

NOTE: This venue has a restriction on the number of children allowed at each wedding. Contact them directly about the specifics.

5. the great outdoors | white mountains, arizona

Ok, so technically my last recommendation isn’t a venue, but I have to mention one more option, and that is to consider state land, especially if you are eloping or having a small wedding ceremony with just a few guests. There are so many beautiful trails and options here if you’re willing to think a little outside the box :)

The White Mountains of Arizona offer more than just beautiful scenery—they provide practical, flexible wedding venues that are perfect for couples looking for something a little more laid back, a place where all your guests can stay on property for more time together, or just a place to escape the summer heat. Whether you prefer an 18th century barn, a 20 acre property near the Mogollon Rim, a modern greenhouse, or a working ranch, each of these locations brings something different to the table. For couples living in the Phoenix area, hosting a wedding in the White Mountains means cooler weather, stunning views, and a manageable drive for your guests. As you explore your options, keep in mind what matters most for your event—space, lodging, vendor flexibility, or scenery—and you'll find a venue that fits your vision. If you’re struggling to decide which one to pick, or if you're suddenly loving the idea of an intimate wedding in the forest somewhere, please reach out! I’d love to help you figure out the spot that is perfect for you!
